Chavutti
Thirumal
This
typical massage is first used in a tribe in South India,It is a part of
Our ancient sacred book Ayurveda and practiced
by the same tribe for a longer time and then later on goes over to
North India then to whole
of India and now a days it is practiced and trained in few of
the
Institutes,This massage has a very nice effect on Body and specially
in diseases like neuro-muscular (sciatica, spondylosis,
etc.),
and skeletal disorders (sprains, fractures, dislocations, etc.) This
massage consists of Yogik exrecises,If your body is not balanced or
having some disorders then you must not practice it over any client
The
therapy is based on the precise knowledge of the body's energetic
channels (nadis) and vital spots (marmas).
How to do?
This
special massage is
done by feets rather than using hands,A very strong rope is attached to
roof of one room and client is made to lie down on flooring on a
metlas, then Just like we do massage in Abhyangam by hands similarly we
use our feet ,we dip our feet in oil and hanging by the rope
one
has to slip on the body of client lying down It is a very powerful
treatment, which requires the patient and therapist to follow a strict
regime during the whole course. It can relieve serious back problems,
and also increase flexibility, stimulate the flow of vital energy, and
develop mental sharpness. The treatment is given by the therapist
suspending his/her weight from ropes overhead, and applying pressure
with long strokes of the soles of his/her feet, after the patient's
body has been prepared with specially medicated oil.
This
massage requires
The foot of the masseur is able to give a deeper, more thorough
pressure and is able to cover the whole length of the body from the
tips of the fingers to the tips of the toes, with long continuous
graceful strokes. This is thus the most difficult of all massages and to
be learnt by a specialist under the eyes of a Ayurvedic doctor,It can
cause serious injuries if not done correctly!
And since
this massage
is not practiced for any treatment in everyday life thus we dont have
any such facility in our institute to give you the training over this
one,Neither we recommend you to learn this one, this will be a waste of
time since no one requires such treatment,You will never need this for
your own institute or Ayurveda centre because what we teach is very
professional and in
demand so that one can learn,Open and earn money or do
social service or whatever!!
Please dont take it personally since this kind of treatment can also
harm the body parts if not done correctly!!
